Radius Payment Solutions, a leading global fleet management company, are looking for a Credit Manager to join our Credit team at our head office in Crewe.

An opportunity has arisen for a proven team manager to join the Credit Department in our Crewe global headquarters. The role will involve managing all aspects of credit risk management from our onboarding process, account opening, on-going limit reviews, cash collection, fraud prevention, trend analysis, margin control to enhance revenue whilst minimising risk.

Key Tasks

•Commercial awareness to manage the team to achieve stretched targets in line with the business strategy

•Motivating a team within a busy and dynamic department

•Maintaining and managing a risk/reward strategy, enforcing and enhancing the current policies and metrics to drive the business forward.

•Ensuring the business activities are compliant and applicable in a regulated environment

•Managing and implementing system changes within the functions to deliver efficiencies

•Building relationships both internal and external within the team and key business stakeholders

•Comprehensive Management Reporting, identifying any trends, areas of concerns and business opportunities. Ensuring that all reports and targets are fit for purpose and accurately reflect the business strategy

•Proactively work towards introducing new efficiency measures and more robust procedures to enhance performance

•Working with the Management Team to develop quality controls, best practice and ongoing employee development

Key Skills/Attributes

•Experience within a credit risk environment encompassing credit limit management, fraud prevention/analysis, underwriting, account trend analysis, and balance sheet analysis for both B2B & B2C. Minimum of 5 years experience

Ability to lead and mentor a team to achieve targets

•Reporting results to Director Level

•Experienced in change management and able to problem solve and innovate new systems and processes

•Excellent ability to communicate at all levels along with strong negotiation skills
